JotForm, First Web Based WYSIWYG Form Builder, Reaches 13,000 Forms in Three Weeks

NEW YORK (PRWEB) March 14, 2006

JotForm (http://www.jotform.com), maker of a free, AJAX powered web forms builder, announced today that it has reached its 13,000 forms milestone in just three weeks of operation.

The site, developed by Interlogy Internet Technologies, allows end-users to create advanced data-input forms for their websites with an intuitive WYSIWYG interface. Jotform has been in development since October 2005, and was opened to the public in mid-February.

I have been blown away by some of the incredible feedback we have received from JotForm users in just a few weeks of operation, said Aytekin Tank, founder of Interlogy Internet Technologies and lead developer of the project. From contact forms, to surveys, and even as an alternative to paper homework assignments, I have really seen some creative uses for the software.

JotForm currently has over 2,200 registered members, with more than 100 new registrations per day. It is the first free form-creator of its type. AJAX, or Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, is a flexible new technology that has paved the way for applications like JotForm.

One of the most unique things about JotForm is that users can drag and drop fields right in their browser. Its not limited to text eitherusers can add image or file uploads just as easily, said Tank.

Additional features are planned, including secure server based forms, and ecommerce integration.
