Accelerize New Media announced today the release of two multi-map packs of its popular MapGUI v2.0 flash map module for websites and applications, the MapGUI v2.0 World Pack and MapGUI v2.0 North America Pack.
MapGUI v2.0 World Pack features a Globe map and six Continent maps with countries. MapGUI v2.0 World Pack provides complete global coverage combined with powerful MapGUI v2.0 logic for delivering data and managing user input.

With MapGUI v2.0 developers can create elegant charts, powerful interactive directories and intuitive interfaces with a highly customizable Flash Map. Each State or Country in MapGUI v2.0 flash maps are programmable buttons with click events and click values, customizable on/off colors and alpha settings, and HTML-ready tooltips that can contain real-time data, links to other pages, images and even Flash movies. MapGUI v2.0 vector graphics make for small file sizes, and it installs on a website in minutes. No Flash programming experience is required.
All MapGUI v2.0 attributes are controlled by a single XML document. MapGUI v2.0 also includes a complete API to allow flash map customization at runtime without a return trip to the server. The API can be accessed via client-side script. This allows for limitless configuration possibilities and seamless user experience.
MapGUI v2.0 also features “hotspots” that allows developers to add their own customized buttons anywhere on the map. The hotspots can be built-in shapes (star, circle, square, triangle), images and even Flash movies. Hotspots are clickable, have their own click value, and support HTML-ready tooltips.
