(PRWEB) October 29, 2005
Absolutist Ltd today unveiled the details of a deal to produce multiple titles based on its highly competitive and proprietary sudoku puzzle technology for Merscom LLC, a North Carolina publisher of PC and console games. Developed for the PC, Absolutists sudoku games will be published worldwide.
Merscom first tapped Absolutist to develop Buku Sudoku, a feature-packed game that will raise the bar for all sudoku titles currently on the market. Absolutist was chosen for the project due to its broad experience in the development of casual games for mass audiences, and particularly for its talent in honing sudoku game technology and algorithms. The decision was also prompted by the fact that Absolutist has an R&D department that is known for its preliminary research aptitude and information streamlining procedures.
Buku Sudoku is scheduled for retail release in North America later this fall. Announcements regarding the additional titles are forthcoming.
