Blind Judo Foundation Encourages Attendance this Weekend of Feature Film on Sports Icon Danny Way, Waiting For Lightning, Hitting Theaters and Download December 2012

Redmond, WA (PRWEB) December 06, 2012

The Blind Judoka documentary, recently released about a blind female Judo athlete of the Blind Judo Foundation was an emotional, heartwarming journey of a 23 year old female athlete training and sacrificing, since the age of 15 to represent the USA at the 2012 London Games, directed by Rosenberg. Rosenberg does it again in this must-see feature film, lending his creative, directing and visionary talent about Danny Way, an unbelievable and perhaps worlds greatest athlete.

Waiting for Lightning is the inspirational story of visionary skateboarder Danny Way. The film follows the journey of a young boy from a broken home in Vista, CA, whose passion for skateboarding would one day bring him fame and a lifetime of accomplishments. Ways drive has no limits as exemplified by his creation captured on screen, a ramp of prodigious and dangerous proportions, across many cultural and ideological boundaries to attempt the impossible: jump China’s Great Wall on a skateboard.

It’s a film about how much abuse the body can sustain, how deep you have to dig to survive the challenges life presents, and how high and far dreams can fly. Danny Way has not only proven himself to be an incredibly talented skateboarder but also the sports greatest innovator. In his quest for greatness, Way continues to shape the very sport which helped save his own life.

Waiting for Lightning is about an impossible dream, an epic journey and the birth of a legend, Danny Way.

In like manner, Rosenberg directed the previously released short documentary Blind Judoka, about a blind female Judo athlete who trained for eight years to represent the USA as a member of the 2012 US Paralympic Judo Team. The film tells the amazing story of Jordan Mouton and her determination in overcoming obstacles to become the very best.
