It is a complete end-to-end graphical based IDE that allows AJAX applications to be developed on the basis of What You See Is What You Get. Its extensive palette includes a variety of widgets and panels for all needs of sophisticated web application design. VistaFei’s Internationalization capabilities make it the ideal tool to create web sites and applications ready for the world. Being built on Eclipse, VistaFei runs on a variety of Desktop platforms such as Windows and Linux.

The first release of VistaFei provides a graphical Web UI Builder and a Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) Designer. It integrates with Eclipse Web Tool Platform (WTP) and thus makes available such tools as editors for HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, SQL, XML, DTD, XSD, and WSDL, etc.
AJAX applications are developed in Java, and VistaFei provides a feature-rich Java development environment. The application is compiled and debugged (using GWT Compiler and Debugger) and launched to a browser, all from within same environment. VistaFei is highly configurable and can be customized to work with different browsers (for the Mobile and Desktop), different screen sizes to suit different Smart Phones and PDA’s, and different underlying frameworks.
Next planned releases shall include custom widget creation, data binding from various data sources, themes, and much more. The ability to create a Rich Client Programs (RCP) will make VistaFei a graphical tool for Desktop application development. Users will be able to develop Web applications as well as applications to run on the Desktop.
