Born and raised in Pakistan, Dr. Irfan Rana completed his pre-medicine education and his initial medical school training at the Baqai Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, where he was noted as receiving honors and special distinction in multiple areas of medicine, as well as graduating in the top five of his class. He moved to the United States and then ultimately completed his residency and internship at the University of Arkansas Medical Center. He then completed an additional psychiatry volunteership in Champaign, Illnios, as well, to broaden his repertoire. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Since receiving his medical degree and certification, Dr. Irfan Rana has worked and gained valuable medical experience at numerous hospitals and medical centers around the country, including several that are located across the entire state of Arkansas as well as in the state of Texas.
