Because the Tech-FAQ hosts this proxy list, the filter operators also block access to the Tech-FAQ itself. To work around this, the Tech-FAQ allows users to subscribe to the proxy list via email, monitor it via RSS, or follow the ProxyBlast feed on Twitter. This effectively allows anyone on the web to publish a proxy list on their web site or blog.
