Kinetic Data Takes Process Automation to New Levels of Functionality with Latest Version Releases

ST. PAUL, Minn (PRWEB) June 18, 2012

Kinetic Data (kineticdata.com), a leading developer of Business Service Management (BSM) software that helps organizations automate task processing across the enterprise, has released new versions of its popular Kinetic Request (5.1) service request management solution and Kinetic Task (2.0) advanced automation engine software.

With the latest version releases, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to continually providing new strategies that maximize the flexibility of our products, said John Sundberg, president, Kinetic Data. The enhancements in these version releases provide new functionality that further enhances their automation processes for business service provisioning

The most significant enhancement to Kinetic Request version release 5.1 is the integration of Kinetic Bridging. A new strategy designed to maximize flexibility and speed the request fulfillment process, Kinetic Bridging simplifies data input and validation by providing immediate and direct accessno matter the locationto any corporate data.

By removing the data barriers that exist within most organizations, Kinetic Bridging simplifies and speeds enterprise-wide implementations, said Sundberg. Moreover, Kinetic Bridging dramatically reduces the risk of prolonged downtime often associated with the deployment of request management applications.

Another major addition to Kinetic Request 5.1 is Kinetic Bundles, a new display framework designed to organize specifications and simplify incorporating corporate branding standards, making implementations faster and easier. Additionally, changes to both JavaScript and Java Code provide significant performance improvements on both the client and server sides of the application.

Through Kinetic Task, IT and non-IT users are empowered to control tasks and approvals for service delivery processes. The latest Kinetic Task 2.0 release replaces previous Flash functionality with a new HTML5-based task builder, which is a move towards greater compatibility as more organizations and browsers embrace the new standard.

Release 2.0 also implements Task Pausing functionality, which further enables users to more precisely control tasks and approvals. Task Pausing gives software users the power to pause a task or tree without having to pause the entire automation engine. The Task Pausing functionality allows Kinetic Task to continue to function even if other enterprise systems are interrupted due to scheduled or unintended outages.

Additional improvements in the Kinetic Task 2.0 release include a new Distributed Task Engines design that offers complete flexibility and control over how to task engine resources are managed. The Distributed Task Engines allow for greater security control and performance management.
